Lockdown: A Curse Or An Opportunity?

Corona Virus or COVID-19 a pandemic, which has put us in a situation where we all are trying to learn how to live our life with a threat posed by a virus.
Who would have ever thought that this situation will occur, Where we have to hide ourselves in our own house, no friends, no walks, no trips.....nothing!
Well, that being said...this coronavirus outbreak have taught us so many things that we would never do otherwise, like spending time with our parents, talking to them, laughing with them, cooking for them, eating healthy home cooked food every single day, calling our friends and family to talk to them for hours and ohh yes, not to forget the happy glow that we have on our face these days. Clear Skin = Pure Bliss!!
Many countries are suffering, people are dying, we are facing financial crisis....all of this is horrendous!
But there is a bright side too like, Skies are bluer, fewer unfortunate accidents, crime rate is falling, and some other infectious diseases are fading from hospital emergency departments.
Air, water and sound pollution levels have dropped drastically. Animals came out freely on streets and in water.

Well, this will end soon.
But are we making use of this time that has been offered to us?
Let me fill you in on what I did in this lockdown so far...
1. I read a book. Finished it, Loved it!

2. Created a Creative makeup look related to COVID-19 and still creating more looks and content on my instagram @blogft.petite Go Check it out!

7. Started watching a new series called "Lucifer" I am on the 3rd season now.

8. Watched a few motivational videos to fuel my fire, be positive and try to find some good in everything.
9. Learned new words and phrases in English, I am all about learning new stuff and expanding my knowledge.
That's it so far! I still intend to do more and I really hope this blog inspires you in some way to try new things or spend this lockdown doing things that you love or you wanted to do but couldn't find enough time due to all the hectic schedule earlier.
There is no such thing as "I don't have time" In this lockdown. Wake up an hour early to spend that one hour for yourself. If you truly want to follow a passion, or try something new then you will make time for it. Try it, I insist!! You won't get this time again. Grab this opportunity!
There are so many things to do just by being at home.
Cook that dish you wanted to try so badly
•Read that book which is still pending
•Get that guitar/ any other instrument out and try to learn some basics (Google & Youtube are your Best Friends now)
•Clean that messy cupboard or room of yours
•Help your mom in cooking or cleaning
•Call your friends & family
•Pamper your self, your skin, your soul
•Love every minute, every second, every day that you get to breathe and to be alive!
Bad times won't stay forever, this shall pass too.
Embrace this time as much as possible. You might not get such abundance of time for yourself again.
Some questions for you: (Honest answers to self)
What all did you do this quarantine?
Were you productive?
Did you learn a new skill?
Did you find mental peace?
Are you following your true passion?
Are you happy?

It's never too late!🌟

I Love You All.
